HIU's Master of Science in Organizational Development (MSOL) degree program prepares students with advanced skills in leadership, ethics, environmental economics, communication, marketing, finance, research, organizational dynamics, technology, and strategic management. Leadership and management disciplines are a launching platform for those seeking the skills to make a positive difference in local, regional, national, and global cultures and societies. Graduates of the MSOL program will have the knowledge and capability necessary for the successful leadership and management of organizational departments, divisions, strategic business units, and upper-level leadership positions.
Our program features sound research training, a curriculum blend of theory and practice, and faith and ethics-based teaching from faculty with top academic credentials and real world experience. Students combine the leadership and management core with a concentration to obtain a degree with professional specialty.
Customized Concentration: Students with well-defined goals for their professional development may find that their needs are best met by a combination of courses as a concentration that do not conform to the specific requirements of any of the four established concentrations in the MSOL. This customized concentration must be clearly defined and created in coordination with the student's Academic Coach.
MSOL students may choose from four concentrations:
